SportFest is the Cornhusker State Game's warm-up for the Opening Ceremonies, complete with dinner and drinks thanks to Arby’s, Frito-Lay, Hiland-Roberts, Planet Earth Distilled Drinking Water and Pepsi-Cola of Lincoln.

NEW FOR 2013 - Sportsmanship Rally: Current Husker student-athletes will speak about how good sportsmanship has helped them accomplish their goals, both academic and athletic.
En Pointe Dance Academy: En Pointe Dance Academy at YWCA Lincoln has non-competitive and competitive performance teams that perform for events in and around the Lincoln Community. Dancers range from ages 6-18. Performers showcase numerous styles of dance including Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, Lyrical, and even ethnic dance such as Bollywood!
Other Attractions Include: Inflatable games, Meet the Mascots, vendor booths and celebrity athlete meet-n-greets.
The fun begins at 5 p.m. and ends at 7:30 p.m., just in time to get in line for the annual Opening Ceremonies Parade of Athletes. The Lincoln chapter of the world famous Parrot Heads, will be assisting athletes and guests at SportFest and adding to the festive atmosphere.
Athlete packets, for those who did not choose shipping, will be available for pick-up on-site from 4:30–7:30 p.m. All athletes will be directed to report to their respective sport sign at 7:15 p.m. to stage for the Opening Ceremonies Parade of Athletes.
Parking in the Seacrest Field West lot, which is most convenient for those attending SportFest, will be first-come, first-served. Additional parking is available in the Seacrest East lot. For convenience and safety, all SportFest and Opening Ceremonies guests are urged to enter the Seacrest Field parking lots via A Street.
