High School LipDub Video Competition

The Cornhusker State Games is conducting its first annual competition to find the best LipDub video in the state!

An example from Scottsbluff High School

WHAT IS LIPDUB? A LipDub video is an amateur video production that combines lip synching and audio dubbing to make a music video. This competition is geared toward Nebraska high schools to give them the opportunity to show their creativity and school spirit.

HOW TO ENTER: Contestants must upload their video to YouTube and submit a link to that YouTube video by May 12 to tyound@nebraskasportscouncil.com. There is no cost to enter.

RULES: Contestants must be from a Nebraska high school and involve the entire student body. Videos should include a sports theme and incorporate at least six of the sports in the 2013 Cornhusker State Games (view a full list of sports). All entries must be submitted with the contestant's Name, Age, Hometown, Phone Number and Email Address for their submission to be accepted.

A judging panel will determine five finalists, followed by online voting by the public via the Cornhusker State Games Facebook page. Voting will take place from May 17 through May 26. The submission with the most "Likes" will be the contest winner.

WINNING SUBMISSION: The winner will be invited and recognized at the 2013 Cornhusker State Games Opening Ceremonies on July 19, in the Nebraska Sports Council Yearbook and CSG website.
