13 Companies Set For

Corporate Games This Weekend 


LINCOLN, NE (April 25, 2018) – The inaugural Nebraska Corporate Games, featuring competition between employees of 13 companies in five sports, begins with bowling Friday night at 6 p.m. at Sun Valley Lanes. 

Other sports and beginning times include basketball at 9 a.m. Saturday at North Star High School, cornhole at 4 p.m. Saturday at Graduate | Lincoln, volleyball at 9 a.m. Sunday at Spikes Beach Bar and Grille and a relay race from 4-6:30 p.m. Sunday at Haymarket Park.  Company awards will follow the relay race at approximate 7 p.m. Sunday.  

Rules and schedules are available at NECorporateGames.com.  All competition is co-ed, with rosters including four men and four women in each event.
  
Awards include gold, silver and bronze medals for each participant of the top three teams in each event, company plaques based on a point system that rewards participation in all events and highest finish placement in the events, and a traveling title belt that also factors in Cornhusker State Games and Mud Run participation.  

Participating companies include Ameritas Life Insurance Corp., Assurity, CHI St. Elizabeth, Crete Carrier Corporation, Duncan Aviation, Frontier Bank, Hudl, Legacy Estates Retirement Communities, Lincoln Airport Authority, Lincoln Public Schools, Nelnet, Southeast Community College, and Zoetis.
