AWARDS: Custom Cornhusker State Games gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each division. Iron man/woman award will be given to the overall best competitor in all three weapons, as well as best overall competitor from Nebraska. Other awards may be available.

*Beginner Longsword is for those who have not medaled in a longsword event before. Additionally, if the Tournament Director believes they are not novice enough, they will be moved to the regular Longsword event.

RULES

Basic safety requirement:

Fencing mask, protective jacket, gorget, and joint protection is required for all events. Men will have a cup. Women will have a chest protector. Specific gear requirements are listed in the rules. If gear requirements listed in the rules are not met, and the participant cannot borrow the needed gear, they will not be permitted to participate.

Women’s Longsword: If there are not enough women for their own event, they can fence the open event for pools and medal separately.

Judging: Fencers are expected to help judge events that they are not currently fighting in.

Direct Eliminations: The top eight fencers out of pools will fence in direct eliminations.

Registration Fees & Deadlines

Those who register by June 21 will receive a FREE CSG athlete shirt, which will be shipped to the address they provide. After June 21, CSG souvenir items can be purchased HERE, courtesy of Fine Designs. Store orders will be shipped directly to the athlete from Fine Designs.

MULTI-EVENT DISCOUNT NOTE: If registering for multiple events, all entries must occur in the same transaction to receive the multi-event discount.

ENTRY FEE INCLUDES: Competition and Summer Fun Freebie vouchers courtesy of our sponsors.

SHIRT SHIPPING: Athletes who register by June 19 will have their shirt shipped to the address they provide. There is no packet pickup—information or items needed for competition will be provided onsite or online according to instructions emailed to athletes.

PAPER ENTRY FORMS: Paper entry forms will be accepted with a $5 processing fee. Registering online saves time, money and trees.
